Good afternoon,
While we’ve been able to play some really great shows these past few days in Minneapolis, Chicago, Columbus, Pittsburgh, and Toronto, they’ve been taking their toll on Mikel’s laryngitis, which hasn’t yet fully recovered. We were really hoping we wouldn’t have to cancel any more shows, but yesterday Mikel came down with 102-degree fever. It seemed to aggravate his laryngitis, so he went to see a doctor here in Toronto, who actually told him we needed to cancel last night’s show. That didn’t happen (thankfully), but things have gotten somewhat worse this morning.
Mikel’s resting up in Toronto today, and unfortunately, we have to cancel our next two dates in Ottawa (3/5) and Montreal (3/6). We know it’s starting to sound repetitive, but we really, really hate that we have to do this again, especially in Canada, where people have been so supportive of the band. We wouldn’t cancel shows unless it were absolutely necessary. We hope you understand.
All tickets can be refunded at the point of purchase.
We’ll be back to Ottawa and Montreal very soon, we promise.
