Hi everyone - I haven't been to an Airborne show in quite a few months and I can not for the life of me recall exactly how long their sets usually are. I need to know because I am going to be buying tickets to see them play at Terminal 5 in NYC on the 18th of November. I will be taking a bus from Binghamton, NY straight to the city. My concern is the trip BACK to Binghamton FROM the city. When purchasing the tickets online, it says the show is at 7PM. Does anyone know if the doors are at 7pm or if the opening act is at 7PM? The latest bus back to Binghamton from the city is at 11:45PM. Will I have enough time after the show has ended to take a cab from Terminal 5 to Port Authority to make the bus leaving at 11:45PM? If anyone can provide any information, it would help a ton. If I can't do the bus back the same night, I will have to make other arrangements.

Usually if it's a festival show or a radio show they play for about an hour. If it's just a normal show they can play up to two hours. What I've seen is that venues will post the time the doors open and not when the show actually starts. If the doors open at 7 the first band will probably play at 7:30 or 8:00 for about and hour and TATE will come on about 15 to 20 minutes after the conclusion of the openers set. From all the shows I've been to though they've never played past 11:45.

Most likely doors are at 7pm and the first band probably won't come on until 8pm or later. If there's a second opening act, it will be even later before TATE goes on. It's still usually 30 minutes between the opening act and TATE coming on, in my experience. And they should probably play for about an hour and 45 minutes or so, including the encore. Typically at least a couple of them will hop down from the stage and start mingling, so if you want the chance to say hi, you'd be stuck there even longer, and then actually getting out of the venue.

If you can make arrangements, that's always better than stressing about missing your bus and not concentrating fully on the band. Then you can always hang out afterward with other fans or say hi to the band members, etc.

Hitch hike. Not that that'll really help you.

Yeah I've seen them four times. Everything you've told me goes along with what I expected. I'm going to try to make other arrangements and possibly stay with relatives in new Jersey. Thank you all

Ok, so for the LA show on Oct 23rd... if they have 3 opening acts and doors open at 7:15.. what time TATE will probably come on? got to work all day and commute 2 hrs to venue, so really don't want to sit thru 3 acts. I'm thinking around 10:30...?
