Hope not !!
no way...i dont think these guys really have a particular age range that they appeal to....at the gigs that i have been to, there has been a real range of ages
and, who cares anyway?? if you enjoy the music, go with it,i say (course, i am getting on up there in years as well, so I just keep telling myself that!! haha)
Speaking of age how old is the band members of The Airborne Toxic Event?
No way. There were loads of late-adults in the crowd last night, and they were the ones who were the bigger fans (e.g. bringing a ton of merch to get signed)
Bringing a crazy amount of stuff to get signed generally ends up on Ebay... hmmm...
However... the age range of TATE fans are all over the place! My brother who is 17 loves them as does my mum who is 48! So... you know... great music does that... It brings people together and it doesn't matter how old or young you are, if you get it, you get it!

There's nothing quite like being at a gig when the crowd is really into it and all feeling it as one.
Dude, seriously... kudos for you for still rocking in your late 40s. But people are right - age is but a number. It's all about attitude. My mum is 58 and she's been to see Kings of Leon, Green Day and even gone to T in The Park. The shows I've been to have seen some of the older people getting ahead of some of the young upstarts. You'll have a great time:)
I'm 17 and i think its awsome that me and and a coulple late 40 year olds like the same music. By the way i think Mikel is like 34(i could be completly wrong)which is pretty old for a lead singer of a band thats only two years old.
You should never feel too old - I'm in my 40s and love live music, always have and can't see any reason for ever stopping (the very idea fills me with dread). I sometimes feel a bit awkward if most of the audience were particularly young (ie late teens/very early 20s) but I haven't seen any rules written anywhere about when you have to stop going to stuff you enjoy ;-) so I'll carry on as per for now!
-Mikel: 34
-Steven: 30
-Daren: 29
-Noah: 27
-Anna: 26
I believe...

Okay, to back you all up: when we were at the 9:30 Club, my mom was 40, I talked to this kid who said he was 8, I'm 13, and there was a chinese guy with gray hair. So it's all good. Keep going to concerts until you got a walker.
There is no such thing as "too old". If you like it then you like it. And TATE is an amazing band. Life is too short to care what anyone else thinks!
Right: music is music. And it doesn't matter who listens to it OR how old they are. Well, that might not apply to someone who swears way more, but that's not the case. And very well said: screw what everyone else thinks. Life IS too short. You know, someone should do something about that......
I've been going to rock concerts since I was 13 (Miami Pop Festival watching Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa, The Animals in 1968). Do the math and I'm 56. My wife and I have seen TATE 7 times, including the London show at the KOKO in May 2009. Great music is great music. You're moved by it no matter how old you are. This band is a throwback to the old bands of the 60's and 70's. They truly love playing live and appreciate their good luck and their fans. Next stop: Austin in September! Rock on younguns :)
Yeah, they do aa really nice job of blending muusic from a few decades ago (before my time) and bringing that into more modern tempos. And I love thet they are the only band that can play violin solos and guitar and drums in the same song :)
gotta agree age is not important always cool to see a variety of ages at a concert, only other time I've seen that is at U2
There was a guy at rhe DC show with silver hair and a cane.
