Greetings fellow TATE fans, I recently discovered that somehow my DVR'd performance of "All I Ever Wanted" got accidentally deleted and although I planned on buying the DVD anyway I noticed that the DirecTV/Audience Network concert has a slightly different playlist than the CD/DVD release. I've searched DirecTV's website but don't see another showing coming anytime soon. I'd like to think I didn't just loose some great footage forever, does anyone know how different the DVD is from the DVR'd version I used to have?

    Thanks!

Hi AZJonathan! The DirecTV version of All I Ever Wanted is significantly different than the original DVD. First of all, the DirecTV version is reduced down to less than an hour where the original is an hour and 45 minutes. So much was cut for the hour long special. One of the best parts of that night was Mikel's rendition of The Book of Love which was cut. The second difference is the order of the songs which you already noticed. I would recommend buying the DVD. You can download the film from iTunes but if you buy the DVD, youll get the bonus audio cd of the entire concert. It is such an amazing film to watch in it's entirety. You won't regret it!

I love watching the DirecTv version just because its enough to get hooked on the band.
When they first started showing i told many family members and friends to watch it and see why i like the band so much.

Many of those people have gone on to buy the DVD or Blu Ray version

Its great that they show it on DirecTV, I always watch it everytime its on even though I have the All I Ever Wanted DVD. It sucks that only gives you a glimpse (45 minutes) of how amazing the real concert was and they really miss the other great songs they performed that day.

Guys, thanks for all the feedback. I just want to be clear, as I'm on Amazon about to buy two copies as we speak (one for myself, one for an out of state friend). One of my favorite songs was "Wishing Well" that opened up the concert, but looking at Amazon's song directory it only shows the song on the CD. Does this mean the DVD won't have any concert footage of "Wishing Well?" Seems kind of strange that it'd be included on the audio CD but not the concert DVD, just wanted to be sure. Thanks again!

"Wishing Well" is indeed on the DVD. It is actually the opening song for the band after the Calder Quartet plays. I watched the DVD again to make sure it was even though I am sure they performed it that night but I don't remember much from that night because it was truly a one of a kind show.

This is strange, maybe something went wrong because if you look at the back of it (photo) it does include wishing well. I got mine off Amazon (uk) too, and nothing seems wrong with it and it includes Wishing well and everything else, except the scratches on it because I have been playing both the dvd as the cd too much and then putting the debut or all at once in my player. I really have to start being more carefull with that.
