Wow. Last night was absolutely amazing. I think this was my favourite Airborne show yet, everything about it was perfect. It was energetic and upbeat, and so good to have them finally do a full-length set. They sounded incredible, and really looked like they were having a great time. Love the acoustic section in the middle, although Mikel did make a quip about not wanting to interrupt people's conversations at the back. There was a bit of talking, which drives me mad, but thankfully you could only hear it inbetween songs.

    Here's the setlist:
    Intro
    Moving On
    Something New
    Magic Moment
    Gasoline
    Echo Park
    Sugarcube
    This Losing
    Papillon
    This is Nowhere

    [Acoustic]
    Letter to Georgia
    Wishing Well
    I'm on Fire

    Midnight
    Goodbye Horses
    Innocence (album version)

    [Encore]
    Happiness
Missy (with Ask Me and Panic)

They did have All I Ever Wanted and People Who Died on the Setlist (I got one!), but didn't play either. Ran out of time I guess...

But yeah, phenomenal show. Hope it's not too long before they come back!

It's a shame that they dropped 'All I Ever Wanted' from the setlist - that is now one of my definite faves, they perform it brilliantly live! Am hoping they will play it in Manchester tonight & Oxford on Saturday.

Might even try and ask Mikel tonight what the chances are of playing 'The Winning Side' in Oxford on Sat night, as it's the last night of the UK tour. Think I already know the answer to that one, though!!

I never listened to The Airborne Toxic Event before. My friend asked me if I wanted to go. A ticket was only 20 euro. I thought it was a great price for a band with that reputation. We got in the pit, the starter bands "The Codes" and "Black Band Yellow Tape" were brilliant. Then Airborne Toxic Event exploded into the stage. Their songs were amazing live and they performed live with amazing talent. I never reacted that positive to a band I never heard before. Their solo's towards the end were amazing. Each band member stood out differently. What impressed me most was their crowd interaction. They talked, laughed, drank to the crowd. I've been to many concerts and what made it stand out amongst others was the end. The band members came down from the stage and hugged and shook hands with us. One of the greatest gigs I've ever been to and can't wait to see them again. Best 20 euro I ever spent

Dreamcatcher, I initially thought the same as you!! ha ha! but then, I realised - jeans! I have seen Anna in jeans but it was only the once, and was before they went on stage. Glad you all had a blast at the Dublin show, nice pics Danni.

    xx
