i was able to get 2 tixs to the LA show but it was another frustrating experience, just like the last pre-sale. database crashes, having to enter payment information multiple times. the band and its management should really think about upgrading to a more reliable and robust technology provider

Ahhh!!! I couldn't get into the pre sale site for over 50 minutes. The site database was down. When I finally got in, the pre-show tickets were sold out for the Fillmore in San Francisco.

    :-(

Sorry guys. I was in contact with management and the webmaster but I'm at work and couldn't do much to help. After what happened earlier in the year, they did upgrade to a much larger server.

There will still be general sales so there will be more opportunities for tickets.

Wartorn, you can email merch@theairbornetoxicevent.com if you need any refunds.

Ditto for me about the Fillmore in SF being sold out before I could get in and get tix. :( Guess I will wait for regular sale. That show will be GA, right??

When will the regular sale start? I got locked out too for the Fillmore in SF. I had the same problem last year for the NYC pre sale. Server crashed and it was a mess but it all worked out and I'm sure it will work out this time. It better, I bought 2 plane tickets to fly from Charlotte to SF.

Jeff, according to Ticketmaster's site, the general public sale is Sunday, August 7th. Good luck!

It's too late to help now, but bookmark this for future reference
    http://theairbornetoxicevent.ecwid.com/simple-store

It's a direct link into a stripped down version of the store that doesn't eat it when the server gets congested. Many found this after we killed the server for season passes, and I used it friday with no problems. Also used it when they released individual tickets for the Origins NYC shows

Just wait. Stubhub starts high because they want to snag all the people who wanted tickets right away. As long as there's a reasonable buffer of tickets available, they will drop. It's disgusting with smaller venues and bands the way that regulars fans get squeezed by ticket resellers, but you can wait and they will drop prices out of fear of getting stuck with the tickets, as well as wanting to get their money as soon as possible.

I found that if I log in to the store an hour or two before the tickets go on sale, the process is easier (Ok, I admit it, I logged on at 7:45 for 10am tickets. I'm a little obsessed). I still had some weird screens and didn't get a confirmation after payment, but after I blipped on over to my bank's website and saw I had a charge, and knew I had my tix. The confirmation email from the store came pretty quick too. This worked out a lot better than last time, when I lost out on Orgins tickets because I still had to sign in to the store after I put the tickets in my basket. Not that I'm complaining. I'm grateful the band is selling tickets through their store, instead of forcing us all to pay inflated Ticketmaster fees. I get that the website only gets swamped during ticket times, and I'm willing to be patient. Can't expect them to upgrade to massive servers for the few times a year they get crazy traffic. That wouldn't make sense.

Thanks for the link, Roclawski. I'll use it next time. Maybe it will make the process even easier:).

Well, for some reason I was able to get on the live nation link today and snagged 2 tickets for the San Fran show and then 20 minutes later you couldn't get any tickets! It was a pre-sale within a pre-sale or something. Whatever....I'm a happy boy.
