So, for English class, we're supposed to do a report on how poetry in music from certain bands can influence mainstream music. But she wants us to do bands like AC/DC, The Beatles, and Michael Jackson! No offense to these men, as they were awesome, but it's been done, we know all the words to all their songs, and we're not going to learn anything.

So, I made her listen to 'Sometime Around Midnight'. I mean, what about 'and the piano's this melancholy soundtrack to her smile' just doesn't SCREAM poetry? So, she approved me doing TATE... Problem? I have to use 'references' such as books or magazines... and I don't have any. So, if you guys have any magazines- or books, though I'm not hoping for much on that part -that mention them, all I need to know is a synopsis on what it says, what mag it was, and who wrote it. The End.

    Please... you could save me!

the "PRESS" link on the top are the only articles i've ever read. Airborne is somewhat new and extremely underrated so they don't get as much press as they deserve. it's funny because as soon as you mentioned TATE and poetry i thought of the sticker/quote that comes on the albums wrapper that reads "Poetry you can dance to...nothing short of amazing - The Los Angeles Times"

OK, I'll go and scour that! I was just wondering, because I really don't want to fail that portion of the porject. Ah well, all's fair when you're trying to enlighten minds, I suppose.

And, yes... that's exactly why they're epic! XD
