Thanks anyway christinalynne! Have fun at the Satellite show! Are you going to the El Rey show?
Hi tatelvr! Yes, I'm going to the El Rey show, too! I was one of the lucky ones who got Season Passes!
Hey, did anyone else get the email about the secret show?
Yes got the email and replied right away
Hey, figured I'd resurrect this thread since we've got less than 2 weeks until the start of the LA Origins Tour! Woo hoo! I'm very excited, plus I got confirmation a couple of weeks ago that my manager okayed my week vacation so now as long as I can get babysitters each night, I'm set!
Who's from the LA area other than Evol? Robes, I'm terrible at geography, where is Walnut in relation to LA?
And we'll have to coordinate meet ups each night, or queuing or something. I really hope I can get to meet some of you guys.
This will be my first TATE concert (Sadly only going to the Ford Amphitheater)! But it would be pretty cool to meet people from the forum! I made some friends from another band forum it was fun meeting them in person though the only odd thing is we only called each other by our usernames.
I got my vacation approved last friday
Im watching the bombastic videos and listening to the audio concert at least once a day
I don't always have time to watch the Bombastic videos (although I should because I'm terrible with lyrics - bad hearing) but I listen to both All I Ever Wanted and the title album every day on shuffle driving kids to school and to and from work. I'm surprised the kids aren't complaining about it yet!
Does Anyone Know How we going to receive our passes for the Origin Season Tickets? I havent heard anything since we had to email the names for the Laminates. How did they do it for the London Origin Tour?
I believe the London tour was totally different. Ech venue of the LA tour will be will call. My understanding is that only the Friday show the (not so) secret show requires the laminates.
I'm going to the one at the music box! I'm excited, can't wait!
Do you guys think they'll play a lot of the old songs or just mainly the new album?

This is the set list from Nottingham (04/04/11) i dont think it will be much different from this, we aren't getting much info from London Origins Tour about set lists or playing time
Where is Does This mean your'e moving on and something new? That setlist is good but I'd be happy if they didn't play all for a woman, goodbye horses, and kids are ready to die and played some older stuff instead or the other new songs like strange girl, welcome to your wedding. Just not that big of a fan of those three songs i mentioned.
*you're
3 down, 2 to go.
super excited about these last 2 shows, but sad that it's half over. :(
btw, are season tix holders going to get priority seating at the john anson ford theater?
last time they played there (sept 2010) the VIP ticket holders got priority seating. it would be nice if they extended the same courtesy to the season ticket holders this time around.
Did all of you get the email this morning about the Ford show? It has all the info on what time to get there, what we'll be doing, etc.
It was sent pretty early, before 10am, I believe.
got it! thanks for the heads up!
i really need to start consolidating my e-mails. :P
i'm just bummed because we (my wife and i) cant make it to the pre-concert festivities. :(
