So, I've been trying to figure out how many songs we can expect on the new album and how many we've potentially already heard. It's been so long I know I'll leave some out, so hopefully some of you know better than me and can add to the list!

On one hand, it seems like this album already feels like your favorite worn in pair of jeans because we've been listening to so many of these songs already, but on the other hand, a lot of them we've only ever heard live, so it could still end up being a nice surprise for us.

I'm just wondering if there will be any songs we haven't already heard some version of!

    This Losing
    Goodbye Horses
    Changing
    All I Ever Wanted
    Tokyo Radio
The Kids Are Ready To Die
    Welcome to Your Wedding Day
    Half of Something Else
    Doesn't Mean a Thing
    Echo Park
    Duet

Not sure if some of these will change names or if they all will still end up on the new album. Did I miss any? 11 songs, at least.

I guess "all at once" will be on the album, too.

"This losing" has been released on the UK version of the first record as bonus track together with "the winning side" (one of my absolute favorites) and "the girls in their summer dresses", so I don't think one or all of them are on the new album.

"Goodbye horses" is a nice cover, but it's a cover. So I'm not sure it will be on that album.

What about "a letter to georgia"? Would be fine, IMO.

I was wondering if there'd be a title track but there doesn't necessarily have to be...

I included This Losing because Mikel said at the Ford Theater show that it would be on the album. I believe he said Goodbye Horses would also be on the album, that's why I included those in the list.

I would love for A Letter to Georgia to be on the album, but I can't remember if he ever said if it would be.

"All at Once" will be on the album. "A Letter to Georgia" won't be according to Mikel because he said they did the perfect version on All I Ever Wanted and they could never top it.

The only other one I can think of you didn't list is an updated version of Mikel's old song "Days of Wine and Poses." I seem to remember something being mentioned of it making the album.

    We're just speculating, so...

Let me say I would also love to take a double album with all these songs. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

I will see them in munich feb. 16th, maybe we will get the album there? Or some songs from it?

At the beginning of the video of All At Once (Live from Ford Amphitheatre, Los Angeles, 9/22/2010) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NilFiW7ink Mikel says that song will be the title track. Is that info still current?

There's also a song they've done called Strange Girl (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAtfalRU4pU), that could be on the album.

When Mikel said This Losing would be on the album, did he mean All I Ever Wanted? Because both the songs you mentioned are on that and it seems unlikely that they would include covers on All At Once.

I'd forgotten about All At Once at the Ford show! When Mikel was talking about This Losing being on the album, he said everyone always asked why it hadn't made it onto their first album so he said it would be on the next one. By that time, All I Ever Wanted was already out.

He said the same thing about "This Losing" at both the DC and Somerville shows (the first two of the tour, so before Ford). In DC "All I Ever Wanted" was distributed to those of us who had ordered it as part of the Early Entry ticket package, and that probably happened at other shows on the tour. My interpretation is that he meant a studio version would be on the upcoming CD.

Other than the ones that have been said, there's also "All for a Woman," "Numb," and "Flight of the Predator Drones."

Good catch that 'All for a Woman' was missing from the list, JoulesIsEnergy!

'Flight of the Predator Drones' is probably an old title for the song now called 'Welcome to Your Wedding Day.'

I hope like only 3 or 4 songs that we have already heard make the album because i don't want to have already heard all the songs on the new album, i want to be surprised. I do hope the songs "Numb" and "Doesn't Mean A Thing" make the new album though.
