So I thought itn would be interesting to find out what other musicians and bands that Airborne fans are into.

What do you like to listen to when you're not listening to The Airborne Toxic Event?

I'm a big Leonard Cohen fan, love Bright Eyes. The National are fantabulous. Bike for Three are wonderful. Jump Little Children, anyone? Radars to the Sky!

    Of course!!!

Come on, marvel us with your music...

Oh a Rufus Wainwright fan! We must talk! hehe! I love Rufus, he delivered me from mediocrity, and his music helped me through some stuff. Such a good singer / songwriter, one of if not the best! Best album Want One?

Also love Bowie and Isobel Campbell is beautiful.

Sons and Daughters I like too!!! Yay! It seems that people that are into Tate have a gooood taste huh?

Steph I know what you like!!! Hehe, only joking ;)

Check out a band called Melodramas, I filmed the music video for Pretty Little Pictures :) myspace here: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=318699135

and Strange Death of Liberal England here: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewProfile&friendID=13770805

Strange Death are something else! Like TATE! Hehe!

Sorry Sean, just came back to this thread and saw your reply - yes Rufus is brilliant IMO. I started off with Want One and it remains my fave of his - then started catching up on his other albums. Going to see Rufus perform is not like going to any other gig - everyone sits quietly and applauds after each song! which was a new thing for me. Rufus is sooo talented though I accept he's not everyone's cup of tea.
    Who else? oh yes:
Morrissey/The Smiths, actually just looking and Sirenluv's list ^^ she's put just about everyone I like too with very few exceptions (and only cos I don't know the stuff a couple of her faves do) - so I'll steal her list (if I may?).
I also like The Magic Numbers, Muse, The Killers, Pulp, REM ... and I'll be back to add more. Oh and did I mention a band called The Airborne Toxic Event at all?
