    about muse:
I hate the way he sings and breaths, I mean he should take singing lessons to improve how not to gasp for air between every sentence (I know every singer does that sometime, but with him it's just annoying because he does it all the time and he does it loudly)
I also find that their music isn't quit diverse, TATE has a lot of songs that fit together but don't sound like a remix of the previous; muse has a sound but they stick to it too much
BUT I do find that there's a lot of meaning in their songs, so that's okay.
and if you have some suggestions I am open for it =D

I am more of an acoustic folk guy than an indie rocker, so my tops include guys like Damien Rice, Joshua Radin, Kina Grannis, Missy Higgins, Regina Spektor, Ray Lamontagne, and Glen Hansard, but some bands I really, thoroughly enjoy include Gorillaz, Cage the Elephant, Stars, and Vampire Weekend. Kind of a spectrum.

I am in love with Hockey (the band, not the sport -- http://www.hockeyband.com). I don't think they are widely known -- primarily a west-coast band based out of Portland. Great live shows. They are also set to release a new album some time in the near future. I've heard some of the songs (DJ In The Sky, Rebels Marry Young) and am really excited about it.

I love the sport of Hockey Gail, think it's the short skirts & long socks combo..... altho' the socks make my knees look fat! lol
Few of my mates saw Hockey when they last toured the UK, never really got them but may well give them another listen.... remind me later to please as my memory is like a........ hmmmmmmmm...... anyway, where was I?!

Off to see Warpaint on Monday, can't wait. Not seen them yet as they clashed with Delphic at Leeds Festival but really looking forward to it, will report back next week :o)

Saw Warpaint the other night & would suggest anybody that get's a chance should go see them, really, really good show from the girls and got a great reaction from the crowd. Support also came from the very talented 2:54 so a nice bonus as I was supposed to see these guys support Blood Red Shoes last month but sadly the gig clashed with a Joy Formidable one.

Next up it's Runaround Kids, a local band who do really entertaining shows. Saw this 3 piece for the first time recently and really liked them, thsi will be the third time in as many weeks.... is that classed as stalking?! They are also supporting Pulled Apart by Horses in their hometown of Wakefield, West Yorkshire very soon, not sure if they are supporting them on any other dates but worth checking out.

Is there a special award for going into the furthest corner of swimming pool to pee? Because this guy above me really reached out to spam for the rolling stone contest! Seriously. Google the name, it's just someone going to a bunch of music sites shilling their band.

Y'know, i always wondered what would happen if i went to Trollworld (aka 4chan.org) and posted that I wanted all of them to go vote up a band. I'm fairly certain they would fall over themselves running to vote the band down.

Thanks, Roclawzi. I figured it might be spam but was too busy earlier to check into it further. I've deleted the post.

Yeah, Decemberists are pretty cool. I think it's really funny how they play old David Bowie music on VH1 when they're all just remakes. What, did he run outta money or somethin? :)
