Here's a thread where we can talk about whatever you want, your bad hair day, the weather, the more random the better!

Here's my random chit chat post: stayed up late preparing my taxes and then couldn't go to sleep afterward. Close to 1:30am before I drifted off so I'm operating on less than 5 hours' sleep and the work day is only half over and I've got class tonight. I'm never gonna stay awake through math tonight!

I love randomness! I'm making a grilled cheese sandwich for my 4yr old who just told me "cheese and Chinese sound the same".

How cute! Definitely made me smile. Sitting in the lecture portion of my math class, hoping it'll be easy and I can stay awake. I tend to snore easily.

I sympathize. Math is no bueno. I was never good at it. I gravitate more toward creativity. Although I am learning French, which is kinda difficult because I keep getting it mixed up with Spanish. I know how to say "Do you take credit cards?", "Where's the bank?", and "Where's the bathroom?". That's all I really need to know anyway, right? ;)

Oh! I can say "cheese omelet" in French! I learned it from a cartoon like 12 years ago.

This is kind of embarassing but I can recite the entire Lee Press-On Nails commercial from the '80s.

I as thinking of learning Italian so I can be trilingual. I grew up speaking (English and) Spanish so it would easy to transition to Italian, right? Hell, maybe I should just concentrate on mastering languages I already know.

Figured I'd bump this thread, too, just to say that today is my 2 year anniversary on this forum! Wow, can't believe it's been this long!

    oh cool, happy anniversary! :)
it was two years for me last month, which is crazy.. in a few days it'll also be two year since I first saw Airborne live. I roped a friend into going to see them in Manchester in April '09 because they still hadn't played in Dublin at that stage. In a strange way it seems like an eternity ago.

@MikaMakesMeHappy Creativity isn't just about painting a nice picture or writing some poetry, you can be just as creative in a more 'academic' subject such as maths.

Happy belated anniversary to you, danni! It's also 2 years ago this month that I saw TATE for the first time. Time flies, but you're right, it does seem like I've loved this band forever!

Thanks christinalynne! The forum isn't much older than that either, is it? I remember being so relieved when I found it, because at the time no one else had any idea who Airborne were, and I finally had people to talk to!

I'm prepping for my Latin final. I love this language 'cause I can curse at people and NOBODY knows what I'm saying. And I might have to get my head shaved, so I told my mom I'm getting a blue wig. I can't be the only person who thinks that's cool.
    There's my daily update.
