For those of you who are or will be fortunate enough to see Red Cortez, you are in for a treat! They are gritty, real and are making a sound all of their own! St. Pete Florida really loved that they came all that way!

Word.
Excellent in Houston. Especially the "Bang A Gong" encore ...
:)
I liked the music but not the lead singer's presentation - on the other hand I really enjoyed the henry clay people
Harley Prechtel-Cortez is a total sweetheart and he is really down to earth.I was able to meet him after their show with The Airborne and the Henry Clay People on Sept.17th.I had been trying to see Red Cortez for months and that was my chance and I got to see them, and they were great.I totally dig their music and it kinda got me mad that the people next to me kept talking shit about Red Cortez. But hell yeah man, they are a really good band and I am glad that they were able to tour with The Airborne :)
Red Cortez is pretty awesome about keeping everyone informed of their whereabouts so hopefully you can see them again soon with a more appreciative crowd. I am jealous you got to meet him...
Hahaha yeah I love how they keep everyone informed about their whereabous.I was lucky enough because when I came out he was outside in the loby standing on the stairs, and since my best friend LOVES RC and wasnt able to go that night,I went over to talk to him,and he was just incredibaly nice.He even wrote her a little note on the back of my ticket lol.I wanted to meet the rest of them but I wasn't able to.I saw Calvin outside but I didnt want to approach him because he was on his cellphone. So I thought it would be rude lol.People did approach him but he seemed bothered by it.But yeah man.Red Cortez is amazing.Once they are back in L.A and start playing shows,I'll be there! :D Lol.
CALVIN LOVE <3
They opened for TATE at a show I went to in Boise, ID (I think) and they were amazing. Love Red Cortez.
