    All these inanimate places
    Feel like they're changing
And the kids are lined up on the wall
    Like they're ready to die

    These arms they're sendin' me,
It's like they just rearrange them
We were cage up like animals
    Questioned and ready to cry

    'Cause I was just thirteen
When I got my first taste of danger
    Standin' by the church
I had a bottle and a pen in my hand

Well I said, "Father, I'm sorry
I just don't know what to do with this anger"
    And this behavior is correctable
I know this wasn't part of your plan

    Oh but fucks like us,
    We were always recieving instruction
    You can burn our clothes
You can wash out the ink and the dye

But you can't look me in the eye and say
You don't feel like a little destruction
And the kids are lined up on the wall
    And they're ready to die

And the kids are lined up on the wall
    And they're ready to die

And all these days just seem like they're getting longer
The view from our room is a gloomy and overcast gray
The weakness we left behind seems to be gettin' stronger
I swear there's somehting in the air and I don't know what anyone could say

'Cause I saw on the news
    This mornin' there was another
Boy by the side of the road
He had a gun in his hand

And I thought, well what could you say
To make it ever make sense to his mother
    Maybe he was excitable
We were just tryina make him a man

    But the day will come
When it falls like a cheap house of plastic
And the cards that we're dealt
Will be tossed like a storm in the sky

'Cause you can only lie for so long
    Before you get something drastic
And the kids are lined up on the wall
    And they're ready to die

And the kids are lined up on the wall
    And they're ready to die

Just one suggestion, I'm pretty sure it's:

And I thought, well what could you say
To make it ever make sense to his mother
    "Ma'am he was excitable
We were just trying to make him a man"

I agree with Danni on that one. Also, on the steaming of the album it sounds like "punks" not "fucks" but on the bombastic I would agree it sounds like "fucks". But that's just how I hear it.

It's definitely "punks" on the album stream, which makes me think maybe they're considering it as a forthcoming single. I prefer it with "fucks" though.

It certainly had a different tone with "fucks", a little more rebellious.

It kinda sounds like "these forms they're sending me", but maybe I've just filed one tax return too many.

Oh yeah, it's probably "Ma'am, he was excitable."

But he does indeed say "fucks" in the Bombtastic version and I assume that's how he'll sing it live. And I also thought it was "forms," which could fit the context better, but I distinctly heard "arms" in a live version somewhere on youtube.

Yeah, it's been "fucks" the few times I've seen them live recently. And it's quite possible that he's sung both "forms" and "arms", lyrics do change (hello, All I Ever Wanted). Nice work though, thanks again for posting the lyrics :)

Oh yeah, no problem. I figure if I'm going to listen to it for three weeks straight then I should probably know what I'm hearing.
