Good morning,
Our debut record is now out.
It’s a heady moment in time for a band: giddy, sort of nervewracking, breathtaking and celebratory. You feel like you’re living in a kind of dream-life. You feel like you are being strapped into a rocket. You think, momentarily, this isn’t happening. But it is. It took two years of work and we are so happy to have it done.
You can buy it in any record store in the U.S. Also at Best Buy. Totally weird, right?
If you’d like to order a copy via mail please follow this Amazon link.
It’s also available on iTunes. It is, in fact, the #9 rock record on iTunes after one day. Unbelievable.
If for some reason you go to a record store and they don’t have our record, will you do us a favor and let us know? We don’t want you to have to go twice.
Thank you all for tuning in to the Conan O’Brien performance. That was great fun. He was very tall.
You can watch it again by going here :

Good morning–
It’s surprisingly cold inside the NBC studios here in New York City at 30 Rockefeller Center. We’re sitting in a green room (which actually is green-ish) watching a feed from NBC (since that’s the only TV you can get). Noah is relaxed, Steven is texting, Anna is drinking tea, Daren is bouncing, and Mikel is trying to ignore a very tight stomach. We did a rehearsal with the sound crew who were hilarious. We toured the studio. We sat in Conan’s chair.
This is all very strange. Awesome. But strange.
We’ll be playing "Sometime Around Midnight" tonight. The show starts at 12:30 on NBC.
The Mercury Lounge was great fun last night. Thank you to all of you New Yorkers who came to the sold-out show.
See you tonight.
We miss you and love you and think about you more than you know, in the van, on the stage, right now, sitting here in this quiet room in this enormous building, in this enormous city where we wanted to disappear with you into the night like ghosts.
