Good afternoon,
We’re somewhere in Idaho at the moment, about to wrap up the final week of our crazy North American tour. It’s been an amazing one so far, filled with lots of jumping, screaming, sweatiness, and boozy nighttime wanderings.. Thanks so much to all those who came out and made this tour such a memorable one. We’ve been having loads of fun in all these cities and enjoyed meeting all of you. It’s been especially nice seeing so many familiar faces speckling the crowds.
Also, our good friends and tour buddies The Henry Clay People and Red Cortez have been putting on some truly inspiring performances at all these shows. If you haven’t seen them yet, make sure you come early to catch them. If you have, you know exactly what we’re talking about..

NEW YEAR’S EVE IN CHICAGO:

Good afternoon,
We know we’ve been promising this for a while, so here it is. We couldn’t be more excited and honored to announce that we’ll be headlining a very unique and special show at the beautiful Walt Disney Concert Hall in Downtown Los Angeles on December 4th.

Walt Disney Concert Hall
With special Guests The Calder Quartet

This performance will be the only L.A. date on our upcoming tour and the only rock show to take place at the concert hall through the end of the year. The event will be a celebration, not just of California, but of the music and culture of East Los Angeles—which we love and are proud to call home—and will feature multiple surprise guests and collaborators to that effect. We’ve never done anything like this before, and we’re hoping it’ll be something special and memorable. It’s, among other things, our thank you to the city of L.A. for the amazing support we’ve received and as a source of inspiration for this little art project of a band that we started almost three years ago. We’re also happy to …

good afternoon–
The hazy sky over the San Gabriel mountains makes the view from the van window look like some sort of post-modern water-color mash-up: equal parts pastoral landscape and industrial wasteland. Such thoughts drift lazily through one’s mind on days like this.
We are on our way to Arizona to play a series of shows in Tempe, Tucson and Phoenix.
The official video for our song Sometime Around Midnight is now on YouTube. You can view it here .
You can also view it on our Myspace page and on MTV and VH-1.

Good day–
We’re thrilled to announce our first-ever full U.S. tour beginning September 1st in Cleveland, OH.
This includes 20 or so dates with Scottish juggernauts the Fratellis .
We fully expect it to be an adventure and hope we can meet you in New York, Chicago, Dallas, Des Moines, and other sunny glens along the American interstate. Dates and locations are posted below. We’ll be announcing additional ones shortly.
Spin.com named us Artist of the Day today. That was very nice of them.
We’re playing Late Night with Conan O’Brien this Friday . Hope you can watch.
Right now, we’re on the 95 South, having just crossed the Delaware River (much like George Washington did back in the day, only with guitar amps). The tour so far has been amazing and ridiculous. We’ve had a few firsts this tour, including an encounter with a bear, a ping pong tournament with M83, and a helicopter ride into the Pemberton Festival, against our better judgment. The show was fantastic, the people were lovely, Canada rocks and rolls and stays for beers after.
If you’d like …
