We’re proud to announce that Amnesty International’s tribute album Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan is now available. It’s a four-disc record with 76 tracks, and all benefits go to Amnesty International and its campaigns for human rights around the world.
For the album, we recorded one of our personal Dylan favorites (there are so many), “Boots of Spanish Leather,” originally released in 1964 on The Times They Are a-Changin’.

Spanning four discs and 72 tracks, Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International packages together new or previously unreleased Dylan covers from artists of all different genres and generations.
The Airborne Toxic Event recorded “Boots Of Spanish Leather” for the collection.
The collection is scheduled for physical and digital release in North America on January 24th, 2012. All profits will go to benefit Amnesty International.

Over time, we’ve learned that there are some things we just have to do, no matter how uncomfortable or how distasteful they may be. You know, pay your dues, Airborne. So, with that in mind, and to our great dismay, we find that we have no choice but to journey to the dismal, gloomy island kingdom of Hawaii for two shows at the end of January.
We’ll be performing at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center Castle Theater in Maui and the Hawaii Theatre in Honolulu on January 20 and 21, respectively. Pre-Sale for both shows begins at 10am TOMORROW MORNING (11/10).
