good morning–
Wisconsin probably has more to offer than trees and flatlands, dreary mornings of rain slapping against the windshield while we drive these moribund highways — but we wouldn’t know it.
We played Chicago last night (for the first time) and the experience was nothing short of religious. Replete with wailing and stomping, speaking in tongues and false idols. ahem.
Tonight it’s Minneapolis.
Then Seattle on Saturday, then we’re playing the Monolith festival in beautiful Denver, Colorado — Red Rocks, no less.
Then Anaheim and the Wiltern.
We used to talk about such things in hushed tones.
As of Tuesday, our record is available in selected stores on vinyl. We are simply tickled (that’s right, tickled) over it.
We will think of you as we drive these lonely highways.
Tonight, for instance,...

good afternoon–
The hazy sky over the San Gabriel mountains makes the view from the van window look like some sort of post-modern water-color mash-up: equal parts pastoral landscape and industrial wasteland. Such thoughts drift lazily through one’s mind on days like this.
We are on our way to Arizona to play a series of shows in Tempe, Tucson and Phoenix.
The official video for our song Sometime Around Midnight is now on YouTube. You can view it here .
You can also view it on our Myspace page and on MTV and VH-1.
You can listen to a stream of our appearance on Morning Becomes Eclectic on KCRW by going here .
You can watch us play a bunch of acoustic songs on LiveDaily by going here .
Our North American tour begins in 10 days in Cleveland. See you there (dates below).
More soon, including huge UK news.

Good day–
We’re thrilled to announce our first-ever full U.S. tour beginning September 1st in Cleveland, OH.
This includes 20 or so dates with Scottish juggernauts the Fratellis .
We fully expect it to be an adventure and hope we can meet you in New York, Chicago, Dallas, Des Moines, and other sunny glens along the American interstate. Dates and locations are posted below. We’ll be announcing additional ones shortly.
Spin.com named us Artist of the Day today. That was very nice of them.
We’re playing Late Night with Conan O’Brien this Friday . Hope you can watch.
Right now, we’re on the 95 South, having just crossed the Delaware River (much like George Washington did back in the day, only with guitar amps). The tour so far has been amazing and ridiculous. We’ve had a few firsts this tour, including an encounter with a bear, a ping pong tournament with M83, and a helicopter ride into the Pemberton Festival, against our better judgment. The show was fantastic, the people were lovely, Canada rocks and rolls...

Good morning–
A light rain is falling outside the Days Inn in Eugene, Oregon as we stumble towards the van with our guitars. Two nights prior it was San Francisco and madcap wilding into the night. Before that London. Seems like a lifetime ago from this quiet college town. Such is touring.
Our video for "Sometime Around Midnight" is still in the running at Yahoo music.
You can vote for it here . The word on the street is that it’s very close right now and we of course would love your vote. We’re also honored to be included with the other bands in the contest. Like Mayor Daly used to say: "vote early and vote often.
You can vote as many times as you like (simply refresh the page). To do so, follow this link :

Scroll down to where it says "Users’ Choice" and click on our box to vote (it’s the first one). To watch the video, click on the little TV icon.
In other news, we’d like to announce that we will be playing the NPR show World Cafe in a couple weeks.

Good morning–
After about 22 hours of traveling and slipping in and out of consciousness, we’ve arrived safely back in the States from the U.K. While across the pond, we played the Barfly in Camden and the 229 Club just across the street from the Great Portland Street tube station. The people were amazing, the pubs were cozy, and the jetlag kept us up at strange hours of the night.
We’ve added a new show for tomorrow night at 111 Minna for Good Magazine’s Choose Good Block Party, with our friends the Morning Benders.
Good is a very cool, very intelligent arts, culture, and social activism magazine that contributes all its subscription fees to charity, and we’re glad to be a part of it. We go on at 3:45 p.m.
We also want to remind you to keep voting for our “Sometime Around Midnight” video at Yahoo! Music.
It’s super important to us, and we hope you can find time to vote 1,9, or 49 times.. The contest is up for a few more weeks, and every vote really does help.

Good evening–
Greetings from the U.K. We’ve just arrived in London and are taking thorough advantage of the great weather and take-away pints.
As you might have heard, our video for the song "Sometime Around Midnight" is part of a contest on Yahoo! Music, and we seriously need your help to win. We hear that voting will continue for a few more weeks, and the winner gets featured for a month on the site, etc. In other words, it’s super important and we’d love it if everyone can pitch in. It means a lot to us, as we’re up against some great acts, and every vote counts a whole lot.
We hope you can find time to support our band by cutting and pasting the following URL:
http://music.yahoo.com/whosnext
You can vote as many times as you want (just refresh the page).
We play the Barfly in Camden tomorrow night. Afterwards, we plan to go to a rockabilly kebab joint that totally rocks.
We miss you and love you and thought we saw you tonight at the Lamb and Flag in Covent Garden..

Good Afternoon–
We’re very excited to announce the debut of our music video for “Sometime Around Midnight.” It was filmed in April at the legendary Spaceland in Silver Lake, CA (and in various other locations around town), and directed by our good friend Jason Wishnow. We had a great time making it, and we hope you enjoy it.
Here’s where you can watch it, and where we really need your help:
The video’s premiering online at Yahoo! Music as part of a video contest called “Users’ Choice” and we would love it if you could help us by voting.
Just cut and paste this URL:
http://music.yahoo.com/whosnext
Scroll down to where it says “Users’ Choice” and click on our box to vote (it’s the first one). To watch the video, click on the little TV icon. The timing here is crucial.
Whichever video gets the most votes during the next 48 hours wins the contest gets and featured on Yahoo! Music for a month. We’re up against some stiff competition, so whatever you can do to support the band will be rewarded handsomely with kind thoughts and witty banter.
