Great cover and amazing show in Atlanta. Easily one of the best nights of my life. I think you guys could do an amazing cover of “Tonight, Tonight” by Smashing Pumpkins.
We just saw them last night in Ft. Lauderdale and this was the best show I’ve seen them do out of the 7 I’ve seen over the past 2 1/2 years and that includes their first show at the KOKO in London 2 years ago and the Louisville show with the Orchestra, which was incredible. The energy last night along with the band’s skills as performers kept a smile on my face for nearly 2 hours – 18 songs in all.
One of the great people that travel with them, Bill Handlin, took a really nice photo of the band, me and my wife and my best friend.
Thanks, Bill!
how do you guys feel about covering bayside’s “no one understands” off of their 2008 release shudder? an airborne version of that song would be killer! i’d blare that song at top volume all the time.
I think you are one of the few bands out there with the legitimacy to cover a U2 song, so I think you guys should do that next.
I’m a new fan. So glad I have found you. Love your music. (I’m in my 50s and the whole family loves you. It’s exciting to have found a favorite new — to me — band.)
The covers are a great idea, and so far you’ve nailed each one. Great version of “I’m on Fire” (Bruce would undoubtedly love it.) And “I Fought the Law” is equally excellent.
OK, Uncle Bob from SoCal suggests: “Tobacco Road” by the Nashville Teens. I’ll sit back now and wait for it. 😉
How about doing Jack Johnson’s Staple it Together?
The song is upbeat and awesome, especially live.
One of the guys in the band raps out the last part of the song when they do it live.
I’m thinking “Secret Agent Man” cover might be in order. How can the young lady work the violin into that? I think it would be pretty cool!
i think you guys should do coldplay “shiver” or “yellow. james blunt “your beautiful. NIN “hurt”

Hey there, love the cover of “I fought the law”; great concept and not surprising given your creativity as a band.
Here’s a suggestion out of left field. I’d love to hear your interpretation of OMD’s “Joan of Arc (Maid of Orleans)” with its haunting bagpipes and drums; hope it interests you….

hey great show last night! I’ve never been to such a great concert! anyway i was wondering if you’d be interested in a song or two to cover. first is my all time favorite, across the universe by the beatles. I feel that you guys would put a pretty awesome “airborne” twist to it that would make me love it even more, second would be Danke Shoen, also the same reason. Well i look forward to hearing more covers and possibly seeing you again on you’re noth american tour)

Hey I’ve been a huge fan of you guys since my best friend first played your song on the radio and told me to listen 3 years ago. I am a huge fan of 80’s music and loved the cover you did so I think it’d be really cool if you kept it going and did “Lovesong” by The Cure. I have faith you guys would do an awesome job. I love you guys so much, and I’m sure my best friend Alyssa would love it to.
Thanks,
Courtney

I think you should cover “I Remember California” by REM.
Oh yeah, also “1952 Vincent Black Lightning” by Richard Thompson.
I have always wanted to hear you guys do a cover of Bittersweet Symphony. That was my favorite song when I was in high school, and one of the best songs of the 90’s. You might be the only band to do it justice.
How about one of these:
“I Remember California” REM
“1952 Vincent Black Lightning” Richard Thompson
“There is a Light That Never Goes Out” The Smiths
you guys should definitely do brown eyed girl by Van Morrison, Mikel your voice with that song would be truly amazing, you should also try city and colour, the girl
Hi once again Airborne, earlier this week i put a request up asking you guys to consider doing brown eyed girl or the girl and that request was not posted up here on the site, this is why i’m writing to you, to express my anger towards this, on the comment i posted i did not use any foul language and practically did what everyone else did, including a complement but for some reason my request was not worthy enough for consideration to be played, obviously it was not even posted here
